Same-day response to an injunction attempt at a trade fair
When opposing counsel prepared an injunction on the fair grounds, we intervened the same day: the product at risk was removed from display, a defence was submitted to the court, and the stand kept operating without interruption.
A threat arriving in the middle of the fair
If the injunction were enforced, the stand would effectively be shut down and the investment in the fair would be wasted.
The decision was to clarify within hours which product was at risk and to take a proportionate step.
Our Approach
Keeping the commercial objective at the centre, we broke the legal risks down into measurable steps.
01 · Rapid Analysis
The right underlying the claim and its match to the product were assessed on site.
02 · Proportionate Measure
The risky item was withdrawn from display; the rest of the catalogue was preserved.
03 · Court Contact
The defence arguments were submitted to the relevant authority the same day.
Timeline
The main stages of the process.
A crisis managed without the stand shutting down
The fair was completed without any injunction being enforced; the incident was turned into a protective brief and a product-screening protocol for future fairs.
- Same-day on-site response
- A proportionate display arrangement
- Uninterrupted stand operation
- A lasting trade-fair protection protocol
