DIS · German Arbitration Institute

The DIS (Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit) is Germany’s arbitration institution. It administers arbitration proceedings and alternative dispute resolution under the DIS Arbitration Rules, so that parties can resolve their disputes outside the ordinary courts within that framework. It also takes on the administrative management of the proceedings and handles the steps involved in constituting the arbitral tribunal.
