German-Turkish Jurists’ Association (DTJV)

The German-Turkish Jurists’ Association (DTJV) is an independent non-profit association founded in Hamburg in 1986. Through lectures, publications and meetings it promotes knowledge of Turkish law in Germany and of German law in Türkiye, and works to strengthen the ties between the two countries’ lawyers.

For Köksal, membership provides regular contact with a community of jurists focused on German-Turkish legal relations. This setting supports the exchange of knowledge on questions that concern both legal systems and makes it easier to reach counterparts abroad.
