Our History
A deep-rooted legal tradition
Our founding partner, Prof. Dr. iur. Mehmet Köksal, established Köksal Law Firm in 1987. Since 2007, the firm has operated as an Attorney Partnership and, particularly in the field of German–Turkish commercial relations, is one of İstanbul's leading law firms.
The Köksal family's legal tradition is a deep-rooted one that has continued without interruption since the Ottoman era. Today, this legacy lives on as deep expertise in international commercial law, a strong network and a multilingual team.

Founded in 1987 by Prof. Dr. iur. Mehmet Köksal, the firm has operated as an attorney partnership since 2007. We are one of İstanbul's leading firms, particularly in the field of German–Turkish commercial relations.
We are an independent attorney partnership. At the same time, we are the Turkish member firm of the Geneva Group International (GGI) global alliance; this allows us to access experts worldwide on cross-border matters while preserving our independence.
