Short answer

Residence facilitations are provided for the cardholder's close relatives; the status of the spouse and children is planned together with the application.

Close relatives of a Turquoise Card holder get a residence status that hangs off the card itself. Under the International Labour Force Law (No. 6735) the holder’s spouse and dependent children may stay in Türkiye lawfully on a “relative of a Turquoise Card holder” document, and that document stands in place of a residence permit. So the family’s status can be planned with the main application rather than through separate residence-permit processes.

What it does not carry is an automatic right to work. A spouse or adult child who intends to take a job needs their own work permit, assessed separately. In practice the family members’ details are prepared at the same time as the main application and run alongside the card’s transition process — the provisional registration covering the first period. That is why the family plan belongs at the very start: additions made later cost both time and process.
