Noting that this situation offers very great opportunities for Turkish companies, Köksal said: “In Germany, the biggest problem for SME-scale businesses is the inability to find ‘a family member to carry on the company.’ In the coming period, there will be company sales on a very large scale. Relations between Turkey and Germany are at a highly developed level, and Turkish investors should therefore seize this opportunity. This matter also holds very important advantages for Turkish companies in terms of the customs union agreement between the EU and the US. If you are a German company, you gain very significant advantages both with the US and in terms of global trade. We estimate that close to 10,000 German companies in the medium term, and close to 20,000 in the long term, will carry out a sale or form a partnership. As Köksal Attorney Partnership, we work together with the German Economic Council. We will organise meetings to bring SMEs together both in Germany and in Turkey. Very soon we will begin meetings in 5 cities in Germany. We will also continue these meetings in some cities in Turkey.”
