A legal bridge is being built between Germany and Turkey. In line with the needs of German companies — which represent the largest number of foreign investors in Turkey — and of Turkish companies in Germany, Köksal Attorney Partnership will open an office in Munich. The opening, to be conducted by Mehmet Köksal, who was recently elected to the Economic Council of the CDU Party once chaired by Chancellor Angela Merkel, will be attended by Turkey's Consul General in Munich Hidayet Eriş, the Trade Attaché of the Turkish Consulate General in Munich Mehmet Cevdet Baykal, the Secretary General of the Economic Council of the German Christian Democratic Party Wolfgang Steiger, and the Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology Georg Reichl. At the opening, which will be held with a panel on 26 November, the development of investment opportunities in Turkey and the legal conditions in Turkey will be the main themes.
