Breaching the commitment raises the risk of revocation of citizenship. No transfer should be made during the annotation period; exceptional scenarios (inheritance, etc.) must be assessed separately.
The three-year no-sale undertaking is annotated on the title deed itself, so it binds even a resale to another foreigner. Genuine exceptions such as inheritance are handled on their own facts and never by an informal workaround. Two further points are worth holding onto: a transfer inside the annotation period removes the basis on which the application was granted, and the citizenship decision can be withdrawn not only for breach of the undertaking but where the original application was incomplete or misleading. The three years are a legal condition of the investment, not a commercial preference.
