A second application filed without analysing the grounds for rejection will also be rejected. Between a timely objection and a strengthened new application that closes off those grounds, we choose whichever route will produce the fastest result on your file. There is a third route as well: an annulment action against the refusal in the administrative court, brought within time — and that period is short enough that it should not be left to run out while the other options are weighed. Which route is quickest follows from the reason for the refusal: where the ground is a deficiency that can be cured, a fresh application; where the decision is unlawful, an action is usually the better choice.
